Jemma Williams

Hi! My name is Jemma and I am a pelvic floor physiotherapist living and working on the Mornington Peninsula. I graduated from Monash University with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2014 and completed my post-graduate studies in Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation from the University of Melbourne in 2017.

I have always had a passion for treating pelvic floor conditions and have been fortunate to have worked within the public and private sectors, continuing to learn and develop my skills as a pelvic floor clinician. My clinical approach is ensuring high quality and evidence-based practice for my clients, making sure they feel comfortable and safe as I support them to achieve their goals.

I love treating and journeying with my clients through all aspects of pelvic floor physiotherapy, including bladder and bowel conditions, recovery following surgery, pre-and post-pregnancy, and I have a special interest in sexual pain and persistent pelvic pain. I believe in developing good relationships with everyone that walks through my door in order to help them achieve their goals, whatever they might be, ensuring you feel comfortable and empowered in your pelvic health journey. I aim to educate and empower those around me to be more aware of pelvic health conditions and increase people’s awareness on how to improve their quality of life.

Outside of being a physiotherapist, I love spending time outdoors, especially hiking and bushwalking, spending time with family and friends, and continuing to develop my amateur cooking skills. I have a fur-baby Bailey who also keeps me very busy.

Core values:

  • Empower: we aim to empower our clients and our staff to feel independent and in control of their pelvic health journey through resources, motivation, and opportunity.
  • Support: we aim to create a welcoming and respectful community that provides assistance to those throughout their pelvic health journey.
  • Develop & Learn: we aim to continue to learn and keep up to date with the latest evidence-based practice for pelvic health.
  • Flourish: we aim to create an environment and community that all people will thrive in.
